Citizens for a Dog Free America Now!

Americans, like many people around the world, treat dogs as though they are sacred animals. Many prefer the company of dogs to the company of people, asserting that they do so because dogs provide “unconditional love.” That’s another way of saying, “No matter what I do to the dog, it will still love me.”

That’s actually a pretty sick attitude. People don’t want to have to be nice, or have to work at a relationship, they just want to be “loved for who they are”, even if they are not very nice people.

Many consider dogs “a member of the family.” Oh please … show me the human members of your family that you put on a leash and walk up and down the neighborhood streets so they can urinate and defecate in your neighbors’ yards. Show me the human members of your family that threaten to bite anyone who comes near your property.

America’s love of dogs is the purest sign of America’s mental illness.

Citizens for a Dog Free America Now! want the rest of America to wake up, to recognize their obsession with dogs for what it is, a diversion of emotional and financial resources that would be better spent and provide infinitely greater returns if directed at other people instead of animals, however cute they may be.
